Tl;dr:

Networking, community action, skin in the game, finding and engaging influential folk and getting people who were in the way to step down or be moved on.

A person’s sphere of influence is so small in the world. There’s not a lot of things we can look at and see a way, direct route to change. However, we can all call out the bullshit in our communities and act to improve the way things are. Social action matters in order to support and engage the vulnerable and marginalised and the effects are amplified when we work collaboratively. I love you all. Be the best person you can be. To others and to the world around you.

 

The first objection to the electoral college votes has been made by desperate Republicans in the joint session of Congress, who objected to the votes from Arizona being counted. Senate and House now separate to debate the objection for 2 hours, they will then separately vote to overturn the objection, and then resume the joint session. When they get to the Georgia votes, the whole process will be repeated, as it will for Pennsylvania. At the end of the whole process, Biden and Harris will be confirmed.

And people complain at some of our Parliamentary procedures!

I’m not sure about the Constitutional position on locking up a sitting President, but Trump was openly telling his stormtroopers to overthrow the election result.
