What is this club doing to me? Totally disillusioned with the shenanigans over the past few months and suddenly I see this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dfGlw_WVVU#t=52 and can't wait to get back down The Valley. The pitch and surrounds will look the biz even if the team don't!
The old pitch was an embarrassment thanks to Richard Murray trying to maintain it on the cheap. Shame Paddy's not able to reap the benefit of the new pitch, everything has been done properly at last, credit to Roland when it's due.
To me and this is just a personal view, nobody is going to go to say the Birmingham home game because we have a lovely pitch but if we have a team who have just picked up 18 of the last 20 points then I could see that adding 2,000 to the attendance. However, if a flat green pitch encourages us to play quick passing football on the ground then that can't be a bad thing.
What's the thoughts on the pitch being well looked after matched up against the feel that we are just a feeder club ? Why has the pitch/draining and also the stadium/seating been focused on ? How long has Chapman been with us ? I'm all for it, that interview was quite good, cheers.
