Think Hughes may be gone, either he'll be sacked or he'll walk but not sure he can be blamed today other than for the lack of subs. Think the players are fully to blame today.

All sounded very childish to me, would seem Adel's recent maturity was short lived.

Because MH has lost control of his players. They don't play for him or each other. His inept management style has created this terrible atmosphere.

Thing is, every week it seems as if people agree with the team before match. I think we played well the first hour today but the players clearly panicked and resorted to a change of tactics a.k.a hoofball, don't know how much hughes has to blame for that. Managers are far too much of a scapegoat in football IMO. I agree something needs to change though.

My verdict is that, when attacking, our players are not supporting each other and not working with each other. They're not attacking as a unit. Instead, they choose to go for no hope long distance shots or don't make that final pass that could have led to a goal.

Also, Mark Hughes needs to be managing the team. The key word there is manager. He is supposed to get them running as a unit and get their morale and team ethic up.

Exactly......you cant blame players....as they are managed and told what to do by the coach.

We have some very good players in our side, that are playing awful...why is that? PURELY becuase Hughes is awful.....they dont believe and not only that Hughes didnt strengthen in areas needed in the Summer.....overall Hughes is 100% at fault for all of this.

I was at the game, he looked like he'd lost the dressing room. No players went to shake his hand at the final whistle. We can only hope now that he leaves before he's actually led us down

We're having a poor season, but this is baseless nonsense:

The players looked crushed, they've lost for the 7th time this season. But when did any of them appear out of control?

[i did think cisse was giving everyone an earfull all match though]

Agree. Problem is, Hughes has ****ed up morale by consistently selecting the wrong team. He is ****, end of.

Not sure which board you've been looking at mate, but there's been a tsunami of people literally begging Hughes to play a different line up. Today though, he did....so I'm all out of suggestions.

MH finally played a line up with which most of us agreed. Trouble is, he has already lost the team. They have as little faith in him as most of us. Too little too late.

Probably forgot he was actually involved and thought he was just a spectator for a little while.

Why didn't he make any subs when it looked like we simply weren't going to score in the last 20?

It's all well and good picking a good team. If that's all being a manager is then half of us could do it. But there's a lot more to being a manager than picking a team that sounds nice.

Well I saw enough from the players in the first half to suggest that we may still get out of this mess, BUT NOT WITH HUGHES IN CHARGE!!!. FFS why wasn´t Cisse subbed for Mackie??? and Zamora brought on too late, that is just piss poor management - time´s up Sparkless f. Off
