    Who, if any, would we keep for next season?

    For me, only Smith, Berra, Cresswell and McG are worth keeping.
    The rest, as they say, can go and "do one".

    We don't want to make sweeping changes, there are some decent players in there we just need a bit more variation, build upon what we already have. Although saying that there aren't too many players I'd be dissapointed about if they left as we have some very average players on our books.

    The only ones I would be happy to see leave would be...

    Green & Richardson

    Gerken, Tabb, Edwards, Anderson and Nouble all desperately need to be replaced.. (Can't see it happening)

    and probably 2 or 3 others added on top to make us able to go and take control of games..

    Calm down guys, we need to add a few faces not rip the squad apart. Let's get a right back in and add a couple of forwards. If we can sign a couple of wide players as well I'd go for that.

    How quickly people forget - the goalkeeping situation is the best it's been in recent years. Gerken has done just as well if not better than having the likes of Stockdale and Begovic in on loan.

    Glad you're not incharge! We cannot as Hamps rightly says " Calm down guys, we need to add a few faces not rip the squad apart. " Look at our player turnover the past 7 years or so, mindblowing. Lets keep it stable.

    Players however I WOULD like to see leave are as follows-

    * Edwards ( past it )
    * Mings - loan, not good enough
    * Vaseli - loan again
    * Nouble - loan
    * Taylor - won't ever play each week under Mick, lets use wages more sensibly ( this relies on Mick staying, should Mick leave and someone else want to play Taylor I'm all for that )

    Looking through our current squad, I can honestly say there is anyone else I desperately want to see leave. Happy with Tabby as a SQUAD player, not a regular unless he plays well!

    Add 3/4 to the current side ( with more quality in key areas ) and I think we'll improve again on this season, which is the name of the game really!

    I think my post was mis-interpreted.
    I totally agree in that we shouldn't get rid of everyone, bar the four that i've mentioned - that would obviously be catastrophic. What i meant, was i would be happy if any of the remaining players would leave at the end of the season, as i don't think they are good enough for our club.
    I agree with the five that Westy has mentioned, and the reasons why - i can also add Wordsworth (never gonna play with MM in charge) and Hunt (also past it). If you also send back the two loanees in Richardson and Green, then thats 9 players that could/should depart - which will need to be replaced.
    Even if you stick to the five mentioned above, with the two loanees, thats still 7 players that will need to be replaced somehow.

    The only ones that are obviously top flight class are Cresswell and McGoldrick but we're seeing what even Damien Delaney is capable of this season so there isn't any player in our squad at the moment who couldn't turn out to be an effective part of a promotion bid and that even goes for Nouble and Taylor.

    I agree a few new additions to keep us moving forward.........too many could see us take a backward step......and nobody wants that.
