It's tempting to vote for Naby Sarr, but out of respect for the dedicated fans who organise the event I'll take it seriously. My vote will go to Diarra, despite his injury problems, because he's quite simply our outstanding player. Cousins and JBG are the only other serious contenders, although Hendo might pick up some votes for liking the anti-regime tweets, and doing the interview while the manager left in a laundry basket. I was also tempted to vote for Jacko as a sort of lifetime achievement award, but Diarra for me.

Diarra for me too - though the temptation is there to go for Watt/Sarr etc. saying that, i probably won't be back till Burnley so won't be able to cast my vote.

I'm voting Yann Kermorgant. They way he tore the cream of the European defenders apart was sublime... The skill shown.

    ****! Wait!

Stephen Henderson, for saying how it is & apparently paying the price with his place in the team

In a normal season I would have voted for Diarra.

Head and shoulders above the rest of our players in terms of class, even aged 34. Well done Alou.

I won't be voting in this year's POTY as I am following Citizen Rick's dictum about making all aspects of the Club "unmanageable".

I won't be there to vote. Spiritually, I'd go with Diarra, but this time, should I magically be allowed to vote, I'll go with Ted and vote for Henderson for having the balls to stand up and speak.
However, I look forward to lots of people voting for Diego Poyet in the hope he will stay to play for us next year in league 1.

Henderson for me for abovementioned reasons and for having the balls, dignity and professionalism for giving the Huddersfield interview while that Belgian interloper was crying on the coach.

The biggest stain on Riga's record to date is the way he has kowtowed to the Regime over Henderson.

    Disgraceful.

bit random, but i would vote pope - as he has seriously improved (and it may persuade him to stay). or poyet so he'll f off again :)

the trouble this year is that no one has been a mainstay in the team for the entire season. there is not one position where a player has nailed it as his own

The press coverage has been massive. Didn't take any publicity stunts - just a simple acknowledgement to how rubbish they have been.

Why couldn't Mel Baroni do something similar at Charlton?

    Oh....
