First I heard of this but we have a player of the month award. For the month of August the winner is James Maddison - only other I can think of would be Mendy.
I think it’s hard to pick one stand out as a number of them have been very good but not consistently over all the games or had a moment that has cost us. Ricardo great going forward and a revelation on the right side but had that moment against Liverpool. Maddison, great goal against Wolves and again looks to add a dimension to our play but was put in a difficult situation that cost us another goal against Liverpool. Chilwell has looked massively improved but hasn’t got the assists Ricardo has to show for it but looks to make things happen down that side Ndidi his usual self, very composed in the middle alongside Mendy Gray has looked a more rounded player and a team player but is better out wide and was not played to his strengths by Puel last weekend Maguire and Schmeichel their usual solid selves Mendy has been great the last two games, really impressed but would he win a monthly award having played the two games? I’d say probably Ndidi but a great months on the whole by all the above and I’d have given it to Mendy if he’d played all month
I think along with Kante, Ndidi is the most destructive midfielder in the Prem Wins so many tackles, he is everywhere and he is improving his game on the ball all the time
