Yeaaaaaah!!!!! It's our very own Graham Carey. Well deserved in my opinion and if there is a better midfield player in league 2 then he must be some player is all I can say. Great passing and great goals. I've only seen him have one average game all season and on that day the whole lot of them were slightly pants. Double edged sword in a way as well. At this stage of the season I do not want Argyle players on anyone else's radar. Being top and winning things like this is kind of making it hard to keep them secret.
Yeh, once Brent has an offer of some real money .. he will sell them no doubt.. But he cant go until January at the earliest .. if he does go..
Never mind Carey, how can we keep Adams off the TV on Sunday? Can we pretend Sheridan is still our manager?
And without Carey as well. Who needs him eh!!!! I have to say I'm surprised at the size of the crowd tonight for this nothing much competition despite it being versus Exeter. Oh, and it being our 5000th match of course. Over 9000 on a Tuesday night for a meaningless game in real terms is quite brilliant and I take my hat off to all who went. As you gather I wasn't one of them. Bleddy poor supporter I am. Mr Brent will be making Kerching noises in his sleep tonight. Not sure what we get out of this one but it must be in the region of £40k. Think tickets were £15 a go so allow for the FA stealing their wedge and Exeter getting a cut
If he gets spotted and poached it will be the fault of all you bleddy SKY watchers won't it. If you didn't subscribe then we wouldn't be on the tele and nobody would know.
Sky's got a lot to answer for....not in my house that's for sure. PS......so glad I wasn't proved right with my prediction tonight.......waiting for a report.
I love Sky; by far the best coverage of football, cricket and F1-my three passions. Yes it is a lot of money each month, but actually I don't care. Enjoyment far out weighs any concerns about the money + we get movies and great dramas etc on Sky1,Atlantic etc.
It's not what it costs that makes me so mad about it lyndhurst. It's what it's done to the sports it gets involved with by killing it with cash. The obscene amounts players get paid now and only a few clubs in most countries able to compete for No.1 spot because of the owners it has attracted. F1 is much the same where the cash rules. At the start of any one season only a few select teams can win that. Once cricket gets taken over it will probably be the same.
The only cricket that I see these days is .......condensed into three areas.....Wickets.....Sixes.....and fours.....the guile and cunning that brings that about is now lost forever to the cricket loving fan on the telly.
