Player name on shirt

I'm soon to be getting a new Newcastle shirt to replace my old Shearer one which had died and my Milner one. But which player name should I get on the back?

The problem is, all my favourite players may well leave (Enrique, Tiote, Barton etc) so what should I get???

ATM I'm thinking Nolan, but anyone got any other suggestions (sensible ones please).

 

I have Ben Arfa on one, and Barton on another. Want to get the last one printed but don't know who either. Play it safe, Danny Simpson!

 

I'm in the same predicament mate, My Carroll shirt has been buried...(after numerouse attempts to scratch the name off...followed by numerouse attempts to then change my surname to Carroll, none of which worked) but most likely I will be going for Nolan, isnt another person who shows more passion than him!!
Love the guy, he's just immense on and off the pitch and no matter what anyone says, he is vital, has been since the Championship season and will be for a number of seasons, and should start every game when fit or not banned. as for other suggestions Collocini is one of my favoriots, Saylor (local Lad) I like williamson and probably one of our most underrated players Simpson?? i'll give Best till end of the season to see whether he's worth a shot if not cant see many other worthy ones at the minuit, just can't wait till ranger proves his potential

Simpson's a good call, but if I'm still wearing it in 15 years time, will everyone remember who he was???

If Ben Arfa proves how awesome he is, I might get him.

But to be fair with our players all linked with moves the only player who I think is guaranteed to stay and will be remembered in years by all is... Shola Ameobi.

Seconded! I think he gets unfair criticism as it is! Just cos our other full back is awesome.

 

I'm waiting till next season to get another shirt with a name on the back, just in case of players leaving/player number changes.

If Routledge goes (and to be fair even if he doesn't) I'd be very surprised if he doesn't get the number 10 shirt next season.

 

What about Harper, or is there some unwritten rule that his name has to be on a goalkeeper's shirt? Failing that, gotta be Nolan

Ben Arfa I think will wear number 10 next season he wanted to wear 55 (5+5=10) but wasn't allowed apparently too high so he had 37 (3+7=10) his favourite shirt number is 10 the playmaker number but it wasn't available when he signed because Routledge had it.
