Excuse the shameless plug but for those of you signed up to CCFC Player, I can highly recommend entering the Player Experience Competition. Today, myself and my son were treated to a fantastic day as guests of the Media Dept. We were taken on a behind the scenes tour of the stadium, had pre-match munch (the lager is no better in the Grand Stand bars), we got to meet Malky, Gethin, Earnie and Huds (respect to all ) and were lucky enough to be taken down onto the pitch at half time after standing at the back of tunnel as the guys came off (I wont go into the pitiful disaster that was my blindfold keepy-uppy attempt but lets just say I was 'rewarded' with a Season Review DVD of last year for my 'effort'...which I thought was just cruel ) Anyway, we were also lucky enough to attend the post-match press conference with MM, Earnie and a very pissed off looking Keith Millens So different to what we see on Player. ...All our favourite local hacks there too (I am now absolutely convinced that Tucker is a miserable git) We also got to watch the game from the press box and I have to say, well done to the Ninian and Canton Stands (not forgetting the Family Stand too) you guys today looked and sounded awesome so respect to you all. This is a 100% biased opinion but we usually sit in the Ninian/Canton Stands so to see them both in full flow today, from a different perspective, was unbelievable and just highlights to me why I will NEVER be anything else other than a Bluebird. Many thanks to the CCFC Media Dept, especially, Jamie De Cruz and Wayne Crichton who could not do enough for us and seeing the Earnie trademark flip again just topped off an excellent day.
WoW, must have been a great day H. To make you fell beter re blindfold keepy-uppy, I'd be lucky to get 1 without the blindfold. I'm in the Ninnian so glad it looks good from the other side.
