Plasma TV screens SOL

Two huge Plasma TV screens to be fitted where the old scoreboards were, these will show highlights at half time. Work to commence straight after the game against Morecambe.

Shame, I kinda liked them.

 

Yeah one will go below the roof and the plan is for the other to go above the North Stand, interesting stuff suppose it will bring in advertising too. Im told the second one may be tricky because of the sheer size and weight.

Also been told that young Connor Whickham is looking very sharp in training

 

Great news, updating the stadium and moving forward.

Looking forward to seeing how the new set up works as well.

 

I thought this was happening at the end of the season. Are these screens really a million quid each? Even with the associated wiring, set up etc this seems steep.

Good move by the club tho.

 

Heard some positive stuff about how the club are moving forward under the current regime, I think Niall Quinn did us proud and did as he said handing the club over to someone who could take us to the next level. Very professional and much more business like

 

Little things like this are great, IMO.

Freshen up the look of the stadium, just need some red seats now, a load of new sign work was done last week.

 

Get your seat near the Plasmas for the winter.
If they are owt like mine, they throw out one hell of a lot of heat.

Hi Guys, when I was working there on Friday I did notice that the score boards where covered up with what looke like
polythene sheeting, so the work may of already taken place

Turning the seats the other way round would be a big improvement.

 

The TV screens are not here yet, they are on route from China due delivery soon.

there was a picture of MoN and Brian McDermot on the pitch on sat and the scoreboard at the southstand had been removed


get those seats sorted n oh yer the tree's at the AoL

You cant beat the elements, the TV screens are a big project as was the relaying of the pitch.

 

Will they show instant replays so we can see if we've been robbed by the ref?

 

If they are coming from China they'll work for about 3 maybe 4 games then go tits up, thought we had connections with South Korea i.e. Samsung?

They banned the replaying of controversial incidents during live play a couple years back.

 

They did that because it was showing the officials up to be twats who need some serious Lasek/Lasik treatment and, not because it would inflame a situation which is the reason they gave.
