Why Doni? Because Pepe spills a shot that should never of been allowed to get away? Why haven't you suggested that Kelly replace Johnson as his was the mistake that led to the goal! In short, the Carroll experiment didn't work and we missed Lucas controlling the space in front of the back 4.......Spearing was unlucky.
He had two golden opportunities in the first, set up by Suarez and he missed them both, a man lacking massively in confidence. Lucas was defo missed!

I thought we played pretty well tonight,looked to have the game under control esp 2nd half.we defended well,Pepe had little to do but it all turned on an absurd sending off and even then we nearly scored. Its getting very frustrating and we definately need a goalscorer in Jan even if its a stop gap signing like anelka
Yes, we've definitely not been getting the rub of the green, as it were. We're generally playing well but not putting our chances away. I'm fairly certain there'll be a massive scoreline for us at some point this season. This team has got potential - I'd expect nothing less from KK! - but, unfortunately, it is, as of yet, unfulfilled potential.
first off henderson positional play was pretty poor last night. he was reputed to be right side of a midfield 3 but he just exposed johnson to risse overlapping all night. I don't think he can do the job. That game was actually easy, fulham were tactically poor..... one up meant we had it generally easy and in reality fulham had no directness to them at all so we could funnel back. The only chances they got were from terrible errors on our part. The issue i see is carroll will not work hard, he's just not at the races at all. then there's little other option Suarez is on the gorund all the time and refs have now issued an unofficial notice that we get nothing with him playing and doing that.
