I meant Graham. I wasn't even thinking of the Dickson at Sevco. I was thinking of something else entirely.
Bill Mcmurdo blog today , David Murray turned down a chance for Rangers to play A c Milan in the champions league final 1993 after uefa discovered Marsaille were cheating that season !!! Rangers only like to win trophies fairly 11 against 11 on the pitch !!!!
lol that myth. Funny how Marseille are still recorded as the winners that year on uefa's site. http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=1992/matches/all/index.html
Pud, will you stop interfering with the freedom of speech. A number of people posted in this post that they were not going to buy a certain book. OK, nothing wrong with that, some posters give reasons why they were not buying the book which is fair enough. I gave my opinions as to why I thought some of the people may also decided not to buy. At no time was I insulting, well maybe just once when I mentioned the Scottish people to be tight with their money. However I apologised for that as I realised that could be hurtful. However I never attempted to urge anyone to buy the book, I never implied anyone was any worse a Celtic supporter for not. I cannot understand your anger. The Celtic club that I have and still support has a wide range of fans of various religions and none, with various other interests and none, coming from all walks of life. I always thought everyone was welcome as a Celtic supporter but you seem to have a very narrow view of the type of person who is welcomed as a Celtic supporter
No matter what someone's history or background they have the right to freedom of speech and to air that view without interference. It is for the rest of us to evaluate and judge that opinion, but s/he has that right in the same way that the most celebrated among us has no matter the topic. If someone is prevented or the are attempts to prevent or limit that persons freedom of speech, regardless of topic, then I for one feel that we should all defend their right, for if we do not defend the right of an individual to openly write or talk on a topic, no matter how trivial, then when it comes to the more important topics or issues there may be no one left to offer their opinion. Freedom of speech is a right we all have, not limited by the perceived importance of the issue at hand. To many fans of football clubs, whether you I approve, they are of major importance in their lives and as such they have the right to voice their opinion freely. If we limit or prevent people from expressing their opinion on lesser matters, then what hope do we have for those wishing to express their opinion of the greater issues in life. As I said....thin edge of the wedge.
