I've been arguing with people saying he's a liability and would cost us goals if he was playing. I've also been saying about Van Persie being all left footed.
    .
Hey ho what happens, Philly Boy just shows rvp onto his left foot, there you go son. All he had to do was try and put him onto his right foot where he'd have been blocked off by other players. We were bad today but that one bit of terrible defending lead to the goal which cost us the game.

i hope that's the last time he ever plays for us because if he does it will mean we are Championship next season.

Disagree, he should have showed him onto his right foot but he didn't get it drastically wrong

He made an angle where rvp couldn't shoot realistically and the shot was going well wide when he did shoot, an unfortunate deflection was not Bardo's fault

One thing about his performance that pissed me off was the constant awful long shots, cut that out and I'm happy for him to play the rest of the season

His performances will improve over time and anyway we can't play Gards at rb anymore

If Parker could find a way, he'd blame Bardsley for WW2, global poverty & hunger in Africa.

Bardo did ok today. Hs first game back after a long lay off remember and against a very good side. bramble scored. van Persies short was going out for a throw in man. You can't blame Bardsley for that FFS. We were poor first half and good second. Vaughan, disagree about Bardsley and shooting. He had our first 3 shots of the game today. The first one he made himself after doing a lot of work to get there and he really had to because he was way out of position and giving the ball away would probably have cost a goal. If he hadn't shot at all today we'd have only had 2 shots and they'd have been in injury time

    Couldn't disagree more.
You watched a different goal to me marra.
Bardsley was doing a hell of a job of stopping the best player in the Premier League ON HIS OWN!!!!
Who are these phantom players to do this blocking off you speak of?
It was some fine defending by Bardsley stayed on his feet and cut off his way to goal, that left RVP no option but to have a lash at the ball.
Bardsley nearly blocked the pile driver and unluckily didn't get enough on the ball, the ball was then going wide..
Then Bramble for some unfathomable reason moved to the ball facing his own goal.
