The wins are getting tighter And this was tight enough, With barely seconds on the clock Hooper G did his stuff And up against his old mate Lennon, of Celtic fame, Who must have known the threat he is Late on in any game But thankfully, on a day When others also won, We weren´t pushed down a place or two In this promotion run But this is how it will be I think, until the end, A goal missed here, or one scored there Will cost, you can depend And I can see this Tuesday Just being a repeat, So prepare for a bumpy ride And hang on to your seat. Good work RBF. If it ends the same way I could take a repeat. Would like to see Hooper start as it seemed Jerome had a few chances today that he struggled to take. Hooper is more if a poacher. With three or four attacking creative midfielders like today we needed a poacher to finish things off as was proved at the end.
Very good sir, you are excellent at your craft. We need a bit more than the same again, we only lead Watford by a solitary goal, we need to bang a few in!
Agree Dave, I can see goal difference playing quite a significant part in all this, if we´re not careful, because even if we win the lot, we may not hang on to second.
Watford at Forrest on Wednesday could be tricky for them. Although Forrest are pretty much out of it though they can be an excellent side.
Agreed, but then Leeds on Tuesday for us, could also be quite tricky and don´t get me started on the last three, because..................................etc, etc,etc
The other guys have tough fixtures midweek Confidence must be high at Bournemouth and Watford too we just have to believe our guys have the bottle, none of the top 4 managers have been here before so maybe the experience of our squad might give us a little edge Top 3 all away mid week will be telling
Well there are no givens or easy games in this league. Apart from maybe against Blackpool. However I have confidence in Neil and the team to keep the level up.
Good stuff RBF. I was one calling for Lennon to be our manager. Couldn't think of a Scot who'd fit the bill, that's for sure. Still not sure who thought Alex Neil was worth a punt, but well done.and thank you.
I think that would be Mr D. McNally Esq. My guess is that AN was on the radar for some time before NA's departure.
All of this is not very good for the blood pressure and while I am looking forward to Tuesday I am also partly dreading it. The goal difference aspect is a growing concern as has been said. Nervy nervy times, but exciting too.
Yes, Watford's 7-2 demolition of Blackpool didn't help our cause. I've seen a few highlights from yesterday and the Bolton keeper was in inspired form, which kept the score down, otherwise we could have at least kept the 2 goal cushion to Watford!!!
It's just great that our team are delivering us an entertaining season Carrow Road a good place to be again after a couple of years of post Lambo gloom Will obviously be disappointed if we miss out now but am happy we have our attacking team back
