He really does bore me in interviews zzzzzzzzzzzz

Still don't understand why it seems to have to be either or..... Youth v experience..........

Surely the best teams have the right mixture of both? Why does it have to be a contest between the two?

He actually speaks a lot of sense in the interview and I do agree with what he says. Many people, probably on KOL Will still moan about it. But he is, in my eyes, saying the right things. We can only hope that he is doing the right things too.

Very knowledgeable guy, speaks a lot of sense. Seems confident in the team which always helps and it will certainly be interested to see how we fair with a team that he has been able to assemble. For all the criticism directed at Taylor last term, he was largely tasked with trying to promote a passing style of football on a Martin Allen team, not an easy task indeed. Now he has brought in some pace and energy and seemingly strengthened what was a dire back four... it will be a huge start to the season for Taylor. We can't start much worse than last season. Can we?

Yep, real good interview. I love the fact we now have a lot younger team. That's hasn't been said about Gills teams fror a long time.

Agree with the comment above about it not having to be youth or experience, one or the other. It is good to have a balance. I think this team, whilst being probably a lot younger than most, does have some good experience, particularly down the 'spine'. Nelson, Legge, Loft, Keds and Cody have a lot of experience. And some of the younger guys like McGlashen are not exactly new to league football. Even youngsters like Hess & Dack have experience beyond their years.

With a younger back four (especially if Egan, Hause etc play) it is also wise that PT has gone for a seasoned pro as our 2nd goalkeeper. It wouldn't be easy if Nelson was out for a young GK to come in behind a relatively inexperienced back 4.

Here's hoping this is the dawn of a good era for this Gills team.

Anyone going tomorrow, please give them a good cheer from me.

It's good to see that Taylor is being realistic in terms of expectations of league position. Hopefully this means that will help the younger players not to be too nervous - knowing that a mistake or two wont mean the end of their selection. I hope that fans can be as patient.
SirKeefy - naturally I shall be going and will give them a good cheer - but I thought the game was today ! (look at the time of your post - sorry - can't help being mischievous )
