Presume they would would take 3-5 days off per month, then work additional hours to catch up. I guess most would want to work normal time, rather than having to catch up 30 days a year as extra time the rest of the year.
Possibly. The point I was trying to make is that if it`s a flexible arrangement and no time is actually lost then it`s a fuss over nowt really. All it`s doing is helping an employee. The reason is irrelevant. If an employee needed a couple of days off a month for hospital treatment (or any other reason) and made the time up nobody would be the least bit bothered.

when a boss can legally sack and discipline you for being genuinely ill I can not see this being something women will be able to use. my local council (who I also work for) once sacked a bloke with cance... 2 weeks after he died!
