Pards has lodged an official complaint with the Prem regarding the fixture congestion in the past few days. Apparently he asked for their fixture to be postponed. Here is a chart the bbc did to show which teams really did have a case for a bigger gap between games.... please log in to view this image Morning Pouchy.
Fixtures do seem fcking ridiculous. Was looking at the table trying to understand how West Ham have two games in hand on some teams.
No surely he can't get another job in the prem when this goes tits up. Can he? The leagues below play more a season, so he's guna need a shake up of the whole structure before he returns.
Unfortunately he can and he will - it completely defies logic and sanity, but the brigade of Premiership tenth rate duffers (Pardew, Moyes, Hughes, Hodgson, Allardyce etc), all seem guaranteed to getting a job no matter how ****e their CV has become. If he hadn't taken the West Brom job, no doubt Pardew would have been Stoke's first choice if they sack Hughes. Pardew had the worst record of all freakin' 92 clubs in 2015....walks straight back into a Premiership job. Moyes had sulked his way through getting Sunderland relegated, finished bottom, threatened female journalists, and looked completely broken and washed up....walks straight back into a Premiership job. Trouble is some clubs like West Ham have such ****erish owners that all they can attract these days is one of the old duffers doing the rounds. Will be the same with us, if Rafa leaves and Ashley stays, no one decent will be interested, and we'll be chasing Hughes if he gets cast off by Stoke.
The London boys have done alright out of this haven’t they? 4 of the 6 top 6 sides with the most favourable rest periods. Doesn’t look to be a very fair balance does it? Saying that Spurs play another game in two days after today. Pards is crackers Not sure what his aim is given he knows there was zero possibility of this being granted. The other managers must be sitting laughing at him. I’m sure Pards will keep them up. He has proven history of keeping clubs afloat on zero funds
The sad reality, hence my gratitude for Rafa. Hughes, Moyes and Pardew are at the point where they will take any given job. If Rafa walks we'll take whichever is jobless at the time for sure. Could well see Moyesy just to stick it to the fans. Waiting for Mclaren to pop up in a managerial job soon aswell.
Hopefully this takeover will happen, we will sack Rafa and get a top manager in who is not a dinosaur Marcelo Gallardo of River Plate gets my vote
There was a video posted today of vox pop interviews of our fans outside St James. One guy is wanting Keegan back after Ashley is gone. Doubt that's on as KK for boss, but I can see him returning in maybe a scouting /ambassadorial role.
