Isaac Newton stood on the shoulders of giants, that doesn't go to say he wasn't a genius. Peter Taylor certainly laid the foundations for Brown's success by leading us up the Football League and establishing ourselves as a Championship outfit. However, Brown took us to the next level, a level which many Hull fans believed to be unthinkable, and deserves credit for keeping us there for a season. Yes, the club was poorly managed on and off for pitch for a large duration of our time in the Premier League, however that does not take away from Brown's incredible achievement.
well put joe tell fez aswell i just dont understand how so-called city fans can slag brownie off....bad memory!!!
You seem to have forgotten that 1) There was no momentum from Warren Joyce 2) Taylor nearly got us relegated from the Championship 3) When leaving, Taylor said he took us as far as he could 4) There was a manager in between Taylor and Brown 5) When Brown took over we were cut adrift in the relegation zone But other than that, fair points.
