    Why?
Money is what motivates all players and managers.

Why is it bollocks? I found it strange at the time that after it was claimed it was pretty much brushed under the carpet very quickly. Wasn't Puncheon even fined in fact? I can't see a player just making something like that up.

Puncheon was fined £15k by the FA in 2014 - it's bollocks.

Why was he fined for making an accusation though? Seems a bit weird doesn't it. Did he make it up or what?

I have no idea, he and Colin may have had a falling out, he might have been dropped, mebbe a team fine etc - the FA made enquiries into his tweet (a tweet that was quickly withdrawn) and fined him £15k for it ......... the part of me that loathes the twat wishes it was true but, they obviously thought it was bollocks.

The article explains the situation well enough.

MP reads the internet and finds a link to a corrupt manager, but does not have the common sense to check the news reports of the time.

The tweet was withdrawn, the player who made it was punished and the corrupt manager bit was not proven.

Posters read what the MP says and wonders if there is anything in the story.

Warnocks gob probably ran away with him, when a player demanded to be played in order to make an appearance bonus.

Leaves a nasty taste though given what's been revealed in football over the past couple of years. Of course Puncheon would have withdrawn his comments and paid his fine otherwise his career would have been over. The FA probably breathed a sigh of relief because they didn't then have to investigate very hard.

Know someone who played under Warnock. Must ask him next time I see him. Do know Warnock was his joint favourite manager of the ones he played for.
