I saw it, its the same as when he does a **** tackle and the commentators just laugh it off because he's Scholes "well he's never been a tackler" doesnt excuse a **** tackle. Awful attempt at cheating yesterday.
He got a yellow, deliberate handball is only a yellow card. I would argue, however, that they should introduce a new red card offence: For any attempt to alter the scoreline through illicit means, a red card should be shown. Attempting to score with arms or stopping certain goals with arms would be covered by this, and it would cover stopping goal scoring opportunities, too.
i was hoping someone would bring that up. I think it was sick what he did, he knew what he was doing, he knew he was trying to score and he would have taken it. Red card for non sportsmen like conduct. cant doubt pauls is a great player but that was disgusting more then the choke slam on barton

A deliberate handball is only a bookable offence? I know its at opposite ends but I think these kind of things should be judged like Taylors 'shot by a sniper' block, I may be wrong but didnt he get a red for deliberate handball?
He should of at least got an Oscar for his performance though... just double checked and it was a straight red, trying to score with your hand should be viewed the same imo
