No idea why Mick never played him, has smashed the goals in for fun at Rotherham, scoring a grand total of ZERO.

I wonder what his next move will be? Anyway, we'll have this overpaid idiot off the wage bill in the summer thank christ!

he always appeared to have the trickery and talent but also appears to be a rather disruptive influence so I can see why we aren't playing him.

Clearly a talented player who lost his way after injury and I think what ever his personality off the pitch he's not a Mick style player. Remember being very surprised when we got him from Peterborough as there had been interest from the PL.

Little harsh as he's mainly played on the RW for Rotheram and apparently at the start of the season was their star player.

And lets remember in most of his games for Ipswich I think he was pretty much given MOTM

I am interested in his weekly wage and what will happen to Mr Taylor next.

Does seem a shame what's happened here. I must say I was very angry to find out we'd paid £1.5 mill for him in the first place, I didn't think he was worth anything like that figure.

At the time that was being touted as a bargain, rumours were PL teams were taking a look at him. I remember being surprised that we'd managed to sign him. If we actually look at his performances in the appearances he's made for us they were all generally of a very high standard, it'll be interesting to see his appearances against the % of MOTM he got, I bet it's high

Getting MOTM in the team before wasn't exactly hard though was it?
Don't think he'd get many now.

He did in the rare appearances he made under Mick aswell because everyone was raving about him. I think it's a bit harsh to say he's no good when in the appearances he has made even under Mick we were all going wax lyrical about him and now we haven't seen him play he's no good. I agree he doesn't appear to have a future here so it seems best he moves on but without knowing what he is like off the pitch judging on his small number of appearances at the club he's clearly a decent player and perhaps didn't get given a fair chance under Mick.

two or three decent games in 1 1/2 seasons is hardly a good return. The same can be said of Hunt. I do have to admit that Tabb is just that player which really irritates me and it doesn't help that he is normally one of the players we bring on to tighten up the game and then drop deep and concede. By no means is he a bad player or disruptive. MM even says he a model pro its just he seems so 'everyday' in the sense that I always feel that anybody could do what he does. Maybe he just makes things look simple but he never has a 'wow' or even an 'applause' moment to his game. Each to there own though.

I don't think the same can be said of Hunt at all. His workrate is exceptional and he offers something both ways.

Tabb has been very good of late, was fantastic v Watford and when I was at Derby second half at CM he was again superb.

    Taylor is just erratic!

Tabb was a regular in the Reading team that smashed this league a few seasons back as Champions so I hope that he will be a lucky omen for us!
