Johnson has been playing for Man City reserves, he scored a very good goal against NEC Nijmegen recently.

He throw a mardy when Sven left and wanted out. Officially he is still on loan here but he is no longer here.

Nigel and Co also thought that Kermorgant, Nielson and Harper were good players.

Kermorgant didnt work here but he has proven at Charlton he has some ability. James Harper was a decent player beforehand so you can let them off for that one and Robbie Neilson was brought on a budget. We dont have the same sort of financial constraints this time. But for every Neilson, McGivern, Kermorgant, Bruce there is a Wellens, Dyer, Hobbs, Tunchev, Morrison, Berner, Waghorn, Davies, Cleverley, Marshall, Drinkwater

Nigel signed alot more good players then bad players

Again Nigel was working on a budget at Hull. Had he had a bigger budget Adebold wouldnt of been considered for a second

He the choice of Adebola and Iwelumo and picked Adebola and he had loan options that were way better.

He made more good signings than bad ones for us, particularly when you consider he had no money at all in the first season, but like all managers, he got some wrong.

Exactly, every manager will sign a few dud players. Its just about making sure that they are kept to a minimum.

Certainly Nigel is in credit in terms of the success of his transfers. I think Steve Walsh is a big yet under-rated part of his staff and he deserves a lot of credit for the gems he's unearthed.

He's never played for a club bigger than Peterborough, he was done for cocaine and he is now 24.

    He's worth nowhere near 2m.

I would rather we were linked with people like Paul Taylor then David Beckham, Theirry Henry, Owen Hargreaves and Michael Owen like we was under Sven.

We all knew Beckham ETC. was never going to come so it was a waste of time but being linked with people like Paul Taylor is at least believable

I hope that we ain´t going to starts signing lots of players for OTT prices, we´ve had enough of that surely ?

NP must now know what we need & I´m alot happier with him having the cheques book in his hands than SGE. He knows what is expected of him & LCFC next season so he´s got to get it right.

Sounds a bit of a risk and a wide boy!

surely someone with his background should of snapped of Peterboroughs hand with a four year deal?

Taylor's name has been mentioned on our board too. I don't know if I am missing something, but he signed an 18 month contract in Feb 11, which expires this August. Why would anyone pay £2m for him if they can get him for free in August?
