Yup, looks good. What with Cairney also looking good, Koren and I also lke Evans there'll be a lot of competition for centre-mid this season, regardless of what formation we play. At least that hopefully pushes Harper further down the pecking order
he looks comfortable on the ball, a little slow though, can see him getting caught in possession a few times next season, a mate of mines a forest fan, said they were moaning that his legs have gone, as long as he keeps passing like he was im sure he'll be fine!
i told him exactly that, one of the forest websites described him as useful earlier, hope he plays against us!
He will be great for us over the next few seasons, Adebola said of him if he does the sitting job then he's in his element, can't think Pearson will ask him to do anything else. Think Mclaren has messed up big time going for the Boat and Greening, maybe short-term will be OK, they can't have a positive impact on the whole season I'm sure.
looks like he'll slot into the Ash role nicely.. did get caught once but confident performance againt supposedly top opposition..
wasnt there yesterday on principle, but i did go to ferriby and winterton where the opposition was obviously not of the same class, but does McKenna offer much more than Harper did last year? On a related note, and from the non-league friendlies alone, Evans seems to be developing in to the box-to-box player we sought from Danns, et al. Incidentally I shall be at both the Chesterfield and Bradford matches with rest of the real fans. On the plus side yesterday probably put a few quid in the coffers thanks to the plastic brigade (assuming Liverpool didnt get the lot that is)
Well I was sat in W10 and all around me was scousers, there was only me standing up when we scored lol - so not entirely sure how many Hull fans were there at all! Back on topic, he looked ok, I think I will reserve judgement till the first competative game.
I would need to see more games from McKenna to judge, for now I will say he potentially looks adequate
