Being reported that Pastore is 'likely' to join Chelsea.

What do you guys think of this if it was to happen?

Personally I haven't seen too much of him but what I have he clearly is a talent and young also so plenty of time to improve also.

For me, I find this a much more exciting option than modric who i rate but whose price is being vastly inflated. He will certainly add a lot more in the final third than modric does which is what we need IMO. Also im sure that whilst the price tag will be similar, he will come on a lot less wages than Aguero would have done which over 5 years could be a better piece of business for a fairly similar player.

I will be well pleased if this comes off, could be the smartest bit of business we do this summer. C'mon the Chels.

I would be suprised for us to get Pastore as he would be more risky option than Modric and would cost more. He is a great talent but if he is to move anywhere I think it will be to another club in Italy.

I doubt it. Not many in Italy (if any) could afford him plus the Palermo president has said he doesn't want to sell to an Italian rival.

Have not seen much of Pastore but from what I heard he'll be a great signing. At 6ft 1 he doesnt possess great strength or power. This would be worrying in the Premier League. But I believe it the likes of Modric can cut it in the Premiership with their slender frame he can.Has a great touch, great passer, and a fanastic dribbler.Just what we need to link the midfield and attack!

Looks like he is going to PSG, gutting. Another one we can cross off along with Modric, Aguero and Neymar.

Surely France is a step down from Seria A??

Seems to contradict what PSG are saying but maybe some hope then.

With Chelsea i've always been cautious rather than optimistic!!

He's gone to PSG. Probably offered him more money as PSG are now the Man City of Ligue 1. Sad really

They;ve bought like 6 players and the highest price they've paid is 11m euroes which is about £9m, thats hardly anything like man city.

The Man City of LIGUE 1. And yes it is like Man City as Qatar Investment Authority have a 70% controlling stake in the club and they are worth in excess of $60bn. They were prepared to buy Man Utd for £2bn at one point.
