Personally I think the fans now have cause to go after the Premier League for comment. Mike Ashley needs to explain his actions, to disprove he is deliberately trying to get relegated.
It does seem like some mental self destruct policy. As well as telling them to stay, I assume the next step is telling to have egg and chips every day along with 5 beers and smoke a big wad of dope. After the players have turned on Bruce, is this some backwards way to ensure he can blame the players rather than himself?! Even the mackems sacked him at this point FFS.
I I'm actually starting to believe (or hope) this is true, it just doesn't make sense at all. Mike has always at least gone into the loan market in January to ensure we stay up and this season there was nothing, there has been no attempt to try and keep us in the division apart from the appointment of Graeme Jones. I know Mike loves a gamble but the whole thing is just strange.

They have more days off than this as well when you factor in some of the ****ing no-shows on matchdays....useless ****s !!
Not sure it's as simple as that though,Clark and Hendricks are away with Ireland and probably a few others ie Dubs,Almiron,Fraser,Ritchie etc
TBF it is because those players will be training. The rest will be chilling. None of those not on international duty have the appetite to train off of their own backs
Just thinking he has a starting 11 he should work on,God knows he's tried everything else: Darlow Manq,Lascelles,Fed,Dummett,Lewis Willock,Longstaff,Longstaff Carroll,Gayle.
We do actually need Joey in the team. Especially if Wilson is back from the next game, Joey should play behind him.
That 11 is in the event of those away may not come back fit though some would say how would you know lol
Psychologically, it would make considerably more sense to train together and talk it through. Physiologically, more under-training will result in yet more injuries. It's just a clusterfuck of a club.
I don't know why anyone's bothered.. You think they're going to learn anything if they train under Bruce for an extra 6 days? I'd make a case we will improve.
