Losing 1-0 at Stoke. Heavy betting that this could be Pardew's last game in charge.

Got to say Stoke are playing some impressive stuff going forward on the break, love how direct they are playing, scares defenders to death

I aren't a fan of Pardew and it probably is time that he went. But it won't help him if people are calling for his head every time they conceded a goal.

    Why hasn't he started Cissé??

Fella helped Pardew out against us and gets ignored!

seems to me Pardew is a 'naughty step' manager

Anyway what happens tonight we're probably going 16th thus making Saturday's Palace match a bit of a must win match.

I hate saying a game is a must win, but Sat could be a make or break game for our Season, we need to stop the rot setting in, 3 points is a must to be fair

Palace is always a "we should beat these" type of game but they always seem to give us a rough ride

Yet another close up of Ashley in the stand. Predictable these cameramen!

Last season didn't they beat us twice this is a massive game for us with two very difficult away games coming up, hopefully it will be a full house and we will back the lads and make it a great atmosphere.

Well Stoke very boringly closed out that win. And is that really it for the man who 'nutted' Myler?

Coming back from a 6 month layoff from a broken kneecap.

The medical team don't currently think he should be on the pitch at all.

Newcastle didn't look too bad tonight, they're just toothless upfront. Pardew to get at least another game. Ashley won't sack him now having just said he was joking about him having one more game.

Shocking game, ball was never on the deck. **** football. Proper ****. Doesn't mean it's not effective though, Stoke will be ok as long as crouch has his head. Worrying for the mags though, very worrying.

Still think Pardew will be in charge for Swansea.

If [Palace win they could go into the top 6. I can only see this been a Hull win or a draw. Plus I think Bruce always out thinks Colin!

Lets hope that Pardew stays on the job. Can only be good for us if he does.

The 1st time we were in the Prem, Newcastle got relegated. Now we're in the Prem again and they're down in the cellar again. Hopefully there is a pattern forming

Not a chance. Pardew is safe for now at least. He is Ashleys puppet and does as he is told. Not to mention a water tight contract (according to thomo on ssn) so unless Newcastle are in real danger of going down will Mike Ashley sack him.
