Can't remember if anything has been posted specifically in this thread about him, but we've certainly shown interest since January. Anyway, he's gone to PSV for £4.1m on a 5 year deal.

I believe Ajax dipped out late on in the bidding, and my guess is we didn't get to the point of making a firm offer.

 

£4.1m and we weren't in for him?! The Eredisivie is a very poor league and surely if we had offered him an escape route he would have taken it? Especially since we have the Jol/Ruiz connection.
