Rant....what's with having Rhythmic Gymnastics as an Olympic sport. They come out covered in make-up and sparkly costumes, it's like Dancing With the Stars. Then the dance around with a ball or a hula hoop, with a false smile on their stupid painted faces. It's all very clever....but not a sport. It's dancing at best....I've seen break dancers perform more gymnastic moves than this lot. Anything that has to get marks for "artistic impression" should not count as a sport. It devalues the medals won by those in real sports......oh and then there's Synchronised Swimming....DON'T GET ME STARTED!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think beach volleyball should be an Olympic sport, but I'm kind of glad it is. To each their own. I personally think anything that requires a judge to mark is bit dodgy (you can measure height, speed and distance) but I love the boxing and guess what.....?
