It's reported in tonites South Wales Evening Post that Paddy Van Aanholt is may be joining Swansea on a season long loan. (Brendan Rogers has very good Chelsea connections)

Seeing that Joses off, and Chelsea wouldn't let us have him back unless we guaranteed regular footy, should we be trying to get Paddy pack?

I'd certaintly be happy to give him a chance for a season and see how he does, while taking time to scout out a quality replacement for Jose, rather than rushing or buying a second-rater (which is probably whats going to happen!)

I'll definitely like him back. Season long loan deal with view to perm would be a good piece of business IMO. Of course this all depends on weather Jose leaves or not.

Would love him back but at the moment I can see Pardew going for experience with Fergie and Kadar as youngsters to cover the position.

He's ****e. He looked beyond suspect when defending in the Championship and from what I gather from Leicester fans he was ****e for them as well. Seriously why blood Chelsea's youngsters when they're actually worse than ours?

I'd prefer us to try and breed our own tbh, get a good left back and try to promote from within ala Ferguson.

He would only be good enough for cover, I rate Shane Ferguson higher. I'd rather get a LB of similar quality to Jose. However I don't think it will be necessary as personally I think Jose will stay.

He signed a new contract within the last month. Could get him on loan but no better than Ferguson and wouldnt want to pay a large fee for him.
