Yesterday was my worst nightmare come true! Not only loseing against our enemy but in the manner which we did.
fortunately I was at home watching the game on sky, and yes I watched to the bitter end! I've not seen my Hoops blown away like that for many a year. I was under no illusion of us getting any thing from the game, maybe in my wildest dreams I thought we might get a point.
But after Wigan thrashed Newcastle, I knew Chelsea would be up for it! Now during the game and after the pundits blamed Paddy for
a couple of goals, if not three! I must disagree with them completely. I feel sorry for him, he must have thought he was at the Alamo as all his troops deserted him...I'm a great fan of Paddy and still think the guys a great keeper.last year he was fantastic and this year he's been let down by his team mates in certain games. From the first minute you could tell the team had no desire to mix it with Chelsea, that's what
really hurt me and my heart went out to all the R's at the Bridge...As die-hard fans we did not deserve that appaling performance. I'm used to seeing the R's battle against all adversity and players giving their all, blood sweat and tears for the badge, but not this crop of players!
So now what? two games left and our fate is in other teams hands! But until the journey is over there's still hope! SO I SHOUT COYR'S

Well IMHO kenny was as fault this massive defeat as the others. He clearly sleeps in their first and was not as good as he has been in recent matches, By no menings he not the only one to blame.

MoM against Spurs but had a bad game yesterday. He was so out of position for the first goal that this may have given the ref a reason not to call Lampard offside. He probably should have come out to take the cross for Terry's goal, but he doen't do crosses, he should have least got himself unimpeded. He should haver come out earlier for the 3rd and made it his ball not Torres. The 4 th goal he drooped the back pass!

Hes a joke, I cant understand the continued decision to play him. He has one good game every 2 months and the rest of time at least a goal a game is his fault, maybe he should swap his lead boots for some helium ones?

He is the best keeper we have but still the worst in the league , i can't think of any starting keeper who is worse than PK . Just to sum it up Sunderlands 3rd choice keeper is better than Kenny. He has not had a good season and imo causes so many issues by not dealing with crosses etc. Whatever division we are in next season we need a new keeper.

    Radek Cerny says hello.

Cernys worst game of his 5 game spell was still better than Kenny has done since he came pack. Cerny pulled off more top class saves in a game against liverpool than Kenny has done in months.

Kenny wouldnt even make my top 30 keepers in the division. Even wolves have 2 keepers better than him.

I like Cerny...always thought it was strange that he got the golden gloves then got dropped. But even so, I think Paddy is better.

As to other teams have better keepers - so what, they arent on our squad list. Cant do nothing about that right now.

Maybe Hughes will give Cerny a go against Stoke...got to be honest, that thought scares me a little!

Kenny scares me even more, Cerny is several inches taller so he would be a better bet.

Id say its reasonable to say last years Kenny is better than Cerny but never this year, hes been bad in at least 75% of the games and has one of the lowest save % in the league.

Just seems a bit risky mixing up the back 5 at this stage of the season...

Not at all, Cerny came in for 4 or 5 games and was MOTM for 2 of them, when was the last time Kenny was MOTM?

Kenny should have never got his place back. Cerny should have carried on in goal and if Kenny was injured, he should have recovered 100% instead of coming back and harming the team because he has lead feet.

Kenny was MoTM against Spurs for me and many others on here! But I agree he has had some bad games this season - quite possibly with Cerny in goal we would have been safe by now. But then quite possibly without blind referees we would have been safe now. But quite possibly if Neil hadn't beeen sacked we'd be safe by now. I could go on, but won't bore you! We may still stay up!!

The whole team was rubbish yesterday......Buzsaky stood out to me as the poorest......the guy can NEVER...EVER...pass to a QPR player....this just let Chelsea attack us wave after wave. Kenny had a poor game, but Goalkeepers are easy to blame when you let 6 goals in.

Poor formation choice and a midfield that would have been more effective sitting on the bench were the reasons for our hammering, not Paddy kenny (whether you think a couple of the goals were his fault or not).

As above Kenny was MotM against spurs...think some are being a bit harsh.

Paddy was my MOTM against Spurs. However, after last season, I thought he would be one of the few of our Championshipo side to make a big success of the Premier League but he's been disappointing. He has always been vampire-like in his dislike for crosses but his shot-stopping statistics are also amongst the poorest in the division. I don't think we should change things now but he needs some proper competition brought in during the close season. I wonder if he's carrying an injury...
