i've been trying to convince him to come back here to play. he doesn't actually need any convincing! come on lambert, sign him up
he is saying that if atletico madrid dont take up the option of signing him he will return to liverpool where his contract runs till summer 2014, also dissapointed to have not played much!
I have also received a tweet from a reliable source that Lansbury will be playing too. (Cheers Dave ;-) )
Not many tickets sold in the home ends so far. Celtic have taken 3/4 of the Jarrold, by the looks of it.
Surprised it's not sold more. Shame really, I would love to go but living in Northampton and not being able to drive means that its not really possible. I think a lot of people might just get tickets at the stadium on the day, it's that sort of game.
I think the pricing is out I'm afraid. Should have priced it at a tenner for Adults and Kids for a quid. I was going to bring my little'un but £20 plus parking, food etc. A little steep to see a match which is going be a lot of fooling around! Still lookng forward to it though!
From what I hear he's been asked No idea who he'd play for though. Although Celtic would probably be favourite how amazing would it be to see lambert in a Norwich shirt!??
Looking at Drurys twitter a good set of people have been invited as a guest or asked to play. More guests and players being announced tomorrow.
Pacheco has a contract with Liverpool til 2014 Atletico Madrid have an option to buy him but may not take it (as he was loaned again and hasn't played much In light of managerial changes/general chaos it may be possible to tempt him away from liverpool...
............i hope so. he has said that it is very unlikely that he will be joining a.madrid so it's back to liverpool. if we could get him for a reasonable price we could have a major player on our books within three years, just don't expect him to be a smash hit from the start. he needs to be in an enviroment where he is happy and playing-and progressing-regularly. he has had very little actual playing time in the last three years so his progress will have been halted.
Nippy - gets to top speed quickly but not a speedster by any stretch of the imagination. I would say he relies on skill, positional sense and passing ability rather than pace for his success. Quicker than Wes though.
