I have mentioned this in another thread but I wondered what everyone else view was on it. Do we actually have what you would call pace to burn? My thinking is that with Elmo, Robertson, Hernandez and Ben Arfa in the team do we have that killer speed that is very hard to combat. As example if the ball breaks on the edge of our box and falls to one of those mentioned would a team collectively **** itself facing it?
Not only do we have pace to burn. We have players who can pick a pass and dribble. Which will be important if teams try and counteract our pace by sitting back.
It's great having pace, but we need players who are confident running at the oppo, which we have been lacking so far.
I think we have an attribute for every eventuality - grafters, speed merchants, skills in abundance. I'm really rather looking forward to the remainder of the season.
Uruguay have got a couple of games in the next week so that's two more players Bruce won't have till about a week tomorrow.

A strange one, unsure why he would do that. He may not want to jeopardise his fitness, or he's injured.
Ince isn't too quick. He can shift but he is agile and changes direction at pace. When Ince gets on the ball, he looks very good. We just haven't found him enough.
Pace is something you can never give someone but this team now as it in abundance, Lets hope SB can gel the new signings in and keep the togetherness in the squad which is so important because if he does what an exciting squad we now have
I hope we use this pace, we've been very pedestrian so far this season, we need to move the ball forward much more quickly.
