Pablo Signs

Hi folks, newbie here, so go gently on me.

So Pablo signs a new 2 year deal.

Hopefully he'll be around to help bring some of the promising youth through, in his second year, as I don't think he'll have the legs for a full season then.

Does this mean the club have given him some assurances, as he was supposedly weighing up other options?

I can see both sides of this one. in an ideal world a year might have been a better option but he was never going to accept it.

 

Does it actually show much intent by Leeds tho?

Sure they have splashed out 2m but if they were looking to buy someone to replace him in the Summer, that would be looked at as being short change

 

Another question would be is Hernandez that good or are the rest of the players that bad?

Maybe we can sign quality players who are on the same wavelength as Pablo & can anticipate his slick, slide rule passing

My concerns too, if we’re going to be playing 4-2-3-1 next season it’s a decent move. If we’re going to be setting out 4-4-2 then it means Pablo wide left or replacing Saiz in the middle. As it seems we’re keeping PH my guess is we’re going 4-4-2

My concerns are... Does this spell desperation in offering him too long a contract as Saiz is on his way or are we planning on playing Pablo wide left, both scenarios are bad...

Pablo is simply one of the best footballers we’ve got, he’s not going to be the fittest but has enough quality for at least one more season

 

That's what every ****y little hoof it club says,lets face it no player with any skill would ever go nillwall,how hard can you kick a ball and elbow the other team is the only skill needed to be a nillwall player.Any ability to pass a ball is not needed in Bermondsy.
