That was truely one of the worst preformances I've seen. Even before we scored I was thinking that our strike force is none excistent and we don't have anyone wanting to grab the game by the scruff and go for it. Bendtner showed nothing but contempt in his lazy preformance and as for Ji, out of his depth sprung to mind. We played well enough for short periods when we kept it on the deck but kept reverting to type with the hoof ball tactics even though we didn't have a target man. Forget about the handball before wolves second goal this was one of the worst teams I've seen us play and somone who we should of seen off which convinces me a miracle is needed and not just MON. We need a new centre back along with a striker and attacking midfielder although that is just wishful thinking. Also Coleback and Cattermole should not be on the pitch together although they didn't play that bad as I just think a Vaughan/Gardiner would be a better combination. Anyway I'm glad I'm not Martin as he has a mountain to climb and although I'm still abit raw I just feel totally gutted.
True he does not have much to work with however you won't go down. MON will view the rest of this season as consolidation and will be looking at mid table. He would be better off lumping January's money in with Summer's money and spending 40+ million on getting good quality players. January is not the time to do what you need and as I said, you won't get relegated. He is a big name manager so can attract good players
Ji was 5 times the player Bendtner was mate. Bendtner can **** off now if that is how he intends to wear the colours of SAFC since his buddy was shipped out and exposed for what he is. We need Campbell back ASAP, and a new striker in January is a must, even if it's Heskey. Atleast he will work for the team... The number of times Bendtner was standing on the wing or way outside of the penalty area when we needed a striker to run into the box was disgraceful. He reminded me of Gyans 'performance' against Newcastle, woeful. We are in a battle and Blackburn is a must win game.... Blackburn will come to defend and play on the counter so we need to keep hold of the ball in the midfield for a start. It's a relegaiton battle but I still think we can finish above Blackburn, Bolton and Wigan.
I agree lad, but think Ji is not a target man and seemed afraid to have a go himself? Bendter well the less said the better as he really made my blood boil. Marty boy has alot to do but with the right selections and a couple of additions we should be alright, but I'm just getting a little fed up with having to say the same thing year after year. Wolves were dire lets face it, so what does that say about us?
