We rent a ground and training facilities from a man who is so evasive he hides his identity in a complicated series of off shore trusts. Why?. The Club is fronted by a man with a record of hiring and firing with a constant change of mind which suggests he needs psychiatric treatment. How on earth any coach can get a team organised with this background is beyond me. In the short time Steve Evans has been here there has been improvement and I do not think he should be undermined by anyone dreaming of buying the Club.

We've had promises, but things get in the way...

The off shore accounts are to :-

    i) Hide the identity of the owner (probably Bates and another)

    ii) Less tax off shore

Why do you not think a good journalist has not yet delved into this and published the story?

Arguably there is a big audience of Leeds fans that would read their work, plus many others in and around football.

Would this investigation also unearth some issues within the Football League?

I think the output would help set expectations among the fans, with regards to asset ownership and clarity on the barriers to success and the level of attractiveness in any takeover / investment. 10 to 12 years of turmoil is enough now and we need a proper investigation. Who is hiding what and who is protecting who?

Reason I believe no one wants to delve deeper is our record of running to lawyers and court at every possible opportunity. As for getting new owners, not for the first time, there is no credible candidate as usual. Nobody willing to put their money where their big mouths are. For the foreseeable future were stuck with current one warts and all

David Conn of the Observer has taken an interest in the dubious goings on at Elland Road if you google david conn/leeds united it may be of some interest.

I've followed him on Twitter for quite a while. Interesting whenever he writes stuff the Leeds fans don't like, he has gotten tons of abuse. Maybe another reason why few outsiders care or are bothered

Just watched his BBC videos. While from the Bates era, they are an "interesting watch". Needs an update on the post Bates ownerships and holding companies now.

I was going to say wasn't there a BBC Documentary that got them band from ER.

The thing is we'll never know who owns ER and TA. It will more likely be Bates but I thought the 'Assets' were sold before Bates bought the club and he was sniffing around the Wendies

Has the useless gun running, tax avoiding mad **** put us back up for sale yet?
Refusing Redfearn a car park pass and banning Lucy from the ground sums the small minded **** up perfectly.
Given that out fitness coach drove Redfearns car into the car park and gave Lucy a freebie ticket I guess he leaves on Monday.... What a **** Cellino is.

As bad as his shenanigans are, more worrying is the fact that as I pointed out above, no one of substance is remotely interested in buying us. I really believe our best hope is a post relegation scenario. No doubt most of rubbish squad would be offloaded and what's left of the club would likely be available for a relative pittance compared to the current valuation. Not a good scenario but better than carrying on in this never ending limbo of mediocrity

Maybe but asking price will be still ridiculously high coupled with buying ground and virtually a whole new team. Likely 100m or near enough. The club will have a for sale sign on it for a long time if we're waiting for that type of owner. Maybe Matts the man to do the deal. I'm sure he's met some high rollers in his day to day activities

Not likely. Their manager ran away with all their money. Now if Elland could track down the manager, he might still have a bit of a stash left

    A bit of a stash?
At least a drug dealer would be a step up from a gun runner.
