Nick doesn't own the emporium, he used to be a resident at the trance night PaSSion (still easily one of the best nights out in the country for any Trance lovers) before my time. AFAIK he's never been involved with ownership of the club. He's a cracking DJ though.
You know him? I went to Uni with him - he's a top lad. Thought he'd bought a club. He did pretty well. His folks had a chippy in the Leicester area - presumably Coalville.
No I don't know him but it's a local area and scene/community which everyone knows all about. Nick still plays in the red room at PaSSion in fact I think he's on at the next one in a couple of weeks. He has done well for himself, he's as near as a household name for dance music fans I'd say.
Pretty sure I went to a club when MYNC were on. It was the week John Peel died and they dropped Teenage Kicks into their set. Which was nice.
Not exactly corrected as he's a house DJ His name crops up a lot, I'm sure most people who are into dance music know who he is, 'discogs' or not.
That Soundcloud page hasn't been updated for four years, his website no longer exists, his last Facebook post was in 2012 and his last tweet was Jan 2013. Has anyone checked the RIP thread?
He's still very much alive. Probably too busy to **** about with Facebook. The Soundcloud link was to show the work he has previously done. I don't think he's a part of Project MYNC anymore. He's active on his personal Facebook page.
MYNC are a great duo. I was in said club with Bummers when they did their peel tribute. Seen them a few times over the years and always had a good night, Sure they were on radio 1 recently so very much alive...
They have, they play the type of dance music I'm into so have seen them a few times, I think they were at ultra fest in Miami when I went, though memories are a bit hazy!
can remember 30 blokes from Tranmere all wearing donkey jackets years ago. Was like a scene from "Smike"
