Agree with you on Delgado. His problem was his attitude he made Puncheon look like a Saint (excuse the pun). Delgado could have been a great signing for us if he had a better attitude. He showed great promise when he came on as a sub for his first Saints appearence against Man U.

Anders Svensson. Looked bright in his very first game, and obviously I enjoyed his goal against Argentina. But he really shouldnt have been playing for us. At all.

Oh, I thought he was alright. Frustrating player though because he did so well for Sweden, and hardly ever showed the same form for Saints.

I remember a League Cup match, I think against Colchester Utd - the one where Dexter scored a hat-trick - and Anders was having a disaster of a game. Colchester were running the midfield sometimes, and he couldn't get a play going at all. At one point, I think some when around 60-70 minutes, he took a pass on halfway, about 30 feet from the left touchline and, expecting the LB to run forward, he pushed a pass into the space. But he realised the LB wasn't going to run, as he made it, and the ball just died after travelling 10 feet. Of course, it was gathered by a Colchester player, and the play rushed past him, leaving him standing right in front of the bench, with a by-now baying Saints crowd literally shouting OFF..!. He looked at the bench, put his hands to his head, and then signalled to them to substitute him. He'd, quite honestly, had enough of that game. I think we instantly started to play better when he went off. WGS placed too much faith in him that night. I actually felt sorry for him, he was that bad on the night.

There have been others though... Neil McCann..? ;)
