Is it just me or is Jordan Rhodes a little overrated amongst alot of town fans, if he was more than a Div1 striker surely some Championship/Prem clubs would take a punt on him, he is not even getting a regular start at Uddersfeeld so i think we should forget about him and stop complaining that Keane let him go cheaply.
We were never given the chance to find out were we? The guy has scored goals at every level that he has played. I'd have him back tomorrow.
Me personally would have liked to see Rhodes/Wickham play together last season . Might have been good Micky. What is it with you WEIGHY always bringing up the past players we missed or sold , its like your just trying to get extra points. YOU AIN'T HEAVY .......
I kind of agree that Rhodes is overrated. That's not to say I don't think he's good, but most of us do tend to have rose tinted lenses towards him due to our lack of goalscoring prowess last season, coupled with a very unpopular manager selling him. He may well have done good for us, but I personally think he'd have been no more effective than Scotland.
We need to aim higher - Rhodes rights and wrongs should now be consigned to history and we should move on.
Personally I would have Jordan Rhodes back at the club and yes I would pay a transfer fee for him.. Ok its easier to score goals in the 1st Div than it is the Championship, but Rhodes knew where the net was.. It is not a case of wearing rose tinted glasses. just a case of knowing a goalscorer when we have one.. Thanks Roy K COYB
