Can't really argue with this. I do think that if we get the right system with wingers and full backs bombing crosses in Fletcher would be one to keep. Can't see anyone paying more than 3-4mil for him and tbh I'd rather keep him for that price. Don't forget, all contracts will have a relegation wage reduction of quite a bit I'd guess - so some wages might not be as high as they are now.

I hope and prey we can keep Cattermole, the one outfield player who has never let his head drop and always fights for the shirt, I ****ing love the lad me for being the one man out there that seems to stand up and represent the club, the fans, what it means to play for the club. It will be tough to keep him, because despite the press and referees, I've rarely met a fan of another club who doesn't appreciate Catts qualities, but I hope that he has a little love for the club that might encourage him to stay. Major overhaul is about to happen. In many ways I'm pleased and I wonder if we'd have been better not appointing PDC last year and getting relegated then. We need good management of ins/outs to ensure we don't continue to sink like many big relegated clubs have done. Worrying times but the clear out has been needed for years.
I think Gus will be every bit as ruthless as Di Canio mate, he's showed some decorum but managed to make it clear that he knows the squad lacks quality and mentality. He will clean out the ****.
