SHARP ... proven at Championship level, willing runner ... our first choice ANTENUCCI ... good touch, works the space and links play ... can forge a deadly partnership with Sharp SMITH ... looks as though he will be limited to being used as an impact sub, which is not a bad thing ... will probably start when others are unavailable DOUKARA ... very powerful and has pace, should contribute well to the cause ... will have to work hard to break up the Sharp/Antenucci combination AJOSE ... in danger of becoming another "head down" flop ... has pace to burn, expect the coaching staff will improve his overall game ... a work in progress WALTERS ... genuine goal scoring talent ... still growing and learning, another work in progress but a definite prospect MORISON ... just can't find his feet at Leeds, probably not the club for him ... should be moved on POLEON ... still feel he has the talent, definitely needs a season loan and playing time to help him develop ... heading for the last chance saloon HUNT ... move on Our attacking options are looking a lot better, but can probably do with a genuine 20-goals-a-season signing
I'm starting to think maybe we will start to play with wingers. Montenegro playing one side and one of Antenucci/Doukara/Ajose on the other with maybe Sharp up front on his own getting support from Adryan. I really like this formation personally and you can play really stylish football with it, just look at Liverpool last season.
Billy's assessment is almost good, except that Ajose and Doukara can also play wide as they both have pace. So although they aren't as good options as Antonnuci and Sharp up top, they can bother play wing which is a good option. Poleon, Hunt, Morison need to be gotten rid of asap. Josh is also quite right with other options for the front men, especially with Adryan playing in the hole
