I was about to come on here for a big moan of frustration and how not doing anything in January has sacrificed our promotion challenge. But typically as a fickle football fan, one toe-poke into the top corner has changed my perspective all together ..
In all seriousness though, it's easy to look at the rest of the season negatively or positively. Personally, I'd prefer to be positive. When you look at it, we've drawn a few games and some would say we haven't taken advantage of the games in hand. But really, Brighton and Blackpool are both decent sides who we've hit at times when they were both in form. Obviously the Donny game was more frustrating. One thing we've generally had all season that others haven't is consistency, we've had relatively few great runs of form or poor runs of form (Christmas the only one I can remember). So whilst others will come and go I think we'll be in the mix right to the end. Also, I thought the 3 subs looked 3 of the better players on the pitch when they came on.

Despite King's lack of control&poor passes I love his power and eagerness and would be tempted to play him more after that, gives us something different. Cullen looked bright and obviously wants to impress, seems to challenge for the ball more than he used to, could still do with a bit of bulking up. And apart from giving away a silly free-kick Evans looked good countering and attacking.

    I'd be tempted to go:
    Mannone
    Rosenior Chester Hobbs Dawson
    McKenna Evans
    King Koren Stewart
    Fryatt

For the Leeds game. I think that team would have too much for them and we need some revenge for that embarrassing performance at their skip.

Looking up I see only West Ham, Southampton and Reading who are nailed on for top 6 finishes. All the others could slip up and we've still got most of them to play which could decide it. So, I'm feeling positive. I know we need more goals, I know we got out-played for 75-80 minutes today, I know we should've got a few lads in January. But I'm still feeling positive.
Until, that is, we get beaten by TWS and I'll come on here for a furious rant about how useless we are...

P.s. Annoying to lose our clean sheet record, although it did take a fantastic move that shouldn't have been allowed to start in the first place. Let's see if we can get it in the next 7 ...

I think anyone would have taken a point from tonight and from Birmingham. Brighton we should have looked to have won but they're a decent side who will be in and around the top 6. Tonight is a good point, but we need to back it up with 6 points or 4at least from the next 2 home games, which we're capable of doing.

I'd be happy with that team, though I'd be tempted to put Brady in for Stewart, he did little again last night.

Cullen definitely earned his place on the bench too.

Yep! I agree with that. Stewarts final delivery spoilt his game I think he needs a rest and a bit of direction.
