This is a game that we should be winning at home, but we've blown it consistently over the last few years. I think this time around is one the best opportunities we've had to beat you. You look worse under Van Gaal than you did under Moyes to be honest.

Also I think Utd will be lucky to finish 4th. I can see Southampton, Liverpool and Everton giving you a battle for that spot. I think Utd will be scrapping with Swansea and the Spuds for a Europey spot.

United will be tough, They looked good against City even with ten men.

Still, Hopefully Walcott can get some sharpness back in the next two games.

I think Uniteds back four will struggle to deal with the pace of a Sanchez----Wellbeck----Walcott front three.

They might have looked 'quite good' but then any team would with £10 trillion worth of players on the pitch. City should still have nailed 4 past them and would have without a useless ref.

Louis Van Gaal isn't Mourinho so fingers crossed he hasn't sussed out Wenger just yet and knows he just has to give us the ball, sit back and counter attack to beat us comfortably. If he has then best case scenario is a draw.

I do enjoy those who claim quite desperately that we look worse. A serious case of clutching mighty hard at the very last straw. The one thing we dont look is worse. We look an infinite amount better in every way. Even defence as leicester aside, weve conceded 2 goals just twice.

But you cling onto that hope as if thats all you have, we will batter you.

    Heres another.

City should have been down to 9 and possibly 8 (yes i am aware you didnt see these incidents do in your mind tget never happened) because zabaletta, dimichelis and hart should all have walked.

Now find me the rule which says smallings first yellow was against the rules.... His second should have seen him battered in tye dressing room though.

So yes city were unfortunate to not get a penalty or two. Not a single guarantee they would have scored considering de geas form but being down to 8 men would likely have seen them get hammered regardless of gow maby penalties they got.

Plus rojos tackes was ****ing amazing. You tell me he didnt get the ball. Outstanding tackle. Fellaini's was a pen byt would have been harsh, aguero was looking for the third but wouldnt have had many complaints.

So many ifs an buts though. City deserved to win asnthey scored more. Nobody would have begrudged us a point thiugh.

You arrogance will bite you on your arse, again :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The most expensive side to line up on the field, ever, in the history of the league and you still failed to win

UiR is okay for the most part, his only flaw is that his optimism in terms of his squads abilities sometimes reaches matth like levels of delusion.
He did that cringeworthy post last season about 10 games in about how everyone thought they would be midtable and out of the running, but they were slowly getting the wins and creeping up the table and would be competing for the title etc etc. Then when he got made to look a mug he blamed it all on Moyes and launched a one man hate campaign against the guy.

I have said many times, I think they are in with a good shout for top 4.....
Were they playing anyone else from last years top 6, away from home, i'd say they would most likely get tonked, but Arsenal........United have decent forwards and a decent manager so I'll go for a draw.Though I will be rooting for Arsenal, just to shut him up tbh.
I preferred Manic depressive nutcase UiR to completely misplaced optimism and illogically smug UiR.

Estimated as the most expensive. Most of the fees were undisclosed. Not that it means anything.

My worried thread was an attempy to reverse jinx tge jinx that moyes had placed on united.

It failed. Nowhere near as bad as our season did though. And we still beat arsenal. As usual.

    Somethings never change. Ever.

Hence why I have gone for a draw.
I just cannot bring myself to bet on Arsenal against big clubs, not if their recent form is anything to go by.

Last night makes me very confident we can win and win comfortably.

Our attack is far better than anderlect and our defence in whatever form it takes has shown itself capable against the two best sides in the land.

Sanchez will be the threat. Contain him and theres nothing else to worry about really.

Really, what is the point of this post on the Arsenal board?

To try and convince Arsenal fans that you're correct? Not going to happen, so can't be that.
To get Arsenal fans wound up? Likely, but not really sure why.
To try and convince yourself that what you've written could happen to make yourself feel better? Most likely.

It's called debate. That's how he feels the game will go, you come back and say how you think it will go and then after the match we discuss how it actually went. What else do you want to discuss on a football forum?

I don't get how you can be so confident you can win. Your defence is worse than Arsenal's! And Chelsea were without Costa when they played you and City should have scored at least 4 against you. Shaw is your only good defender. Most teams will feel they can beat you at home.

His post is not debate intended, it's laced with fish bait.

Maybe so but the reality is quite different.

Out defence is relatively unknown. Feel free to name it because i dont have a clue. What i do know is despite the troubles it held its own against chelsea and city. Not bad for an ever changing backline that at one point included no senior centreback.

I wouldn't call ours any better or worse tbh.

I mere pointed out that our current performances v your recent ones give me confidence.
