Just a thought should we get a manager purely on their record. How does the potential players they may be able to bring with them / attract to the club factor in to the choice.
Jim Magilton is out of work again. May not be a lot of people's first choice but he is also a young manager at 43 years old with plenty of experience. I dont think there will be a lot of decent managers around that would even consider coming to our club now as we will probably be certs to go down next season. Gordon Strachan and Alex McLeish may be looking for work but I am not sure they would consider coming to Norwich. I think we will have to search the lower leagues again as we did with Lambert if we are going to find somebody. Maybe we could tempt Paolo Di Canio from Swindon?
The four possibles you mention we would not touch with a disinfected barge pole! I note this is your first post, all I can say is, you never get a second chance to make a first impression!
I think the key ingredient is leadership, and Malky tops the poll in that regard. He would also probably bring Kerslake with him as assistant with a lot of experience and good playing background. That would be my first choice.
