For me I think we still lack that big target man you need in this division. Ainsworth needs to think who his main partner is for Dean Morgan. Kuffor and Scott dont cut it for me. They are journey men. I havent seen much of Scott to be fair to him. Mcclure is going to be a Championship player one day in my eyes. But for now needs a run of games after injury. Deano only performes some weeks! Morias looks good but wont get much of a chance. I think we need to make a move for a big striker like Akinfenwa when we hoof it up like saturday. I am intrested what you lads have to think about our front men including Kuffor and his efforts and goal in LG Cup?

Deano plays well with McClure but he's clearly a long way off being fit he also looks like he could form a good partnership with JP although they can both be frustrating from what I can tell Deano doesn't rate Kuffour so he doesn't pass to him If Junior could add goals to his game he may get a chance I take it you mean the scott as in Steven Craig I not see him so can't comment only to say he's got to be better than Kuffour that cup goal had to be a fluke
Our 6 strikers fire a lot of blanks having made 236 apperances for us an scoring only 42 goals thats nearly one goal every 6 games Deano has the best stats at nearly 1 goal every 4 games JP and McClure 1 every 5 Kuffour 1 every 12 and the other 2 have yet to score Craig having only made 2 sub apperances
So yes we need to offload Kuffour and get a big lad to give us options or play Doherty up front

It will be intresting to see whos the fav partner for deano. If its JP or Mcclure when fit. The problem being both Deanos partners have never been able to stay fit for us!. Didnt doc go up front second half against bradford? We need another striker.

Kuffor showed for 90 mins for me he is and was capable of playing at a higher level. But when playing for us in the lg he looks awful like a drowned rat. With his finishing looking like a evo-stick div player. I dont see what ainsworth rates him as a good finisher. pre season seems not to have done much. just a load of bull **** for me. sad really. because could have been a good signin.

Deano and McClure up front with JP or Craig coming off the bench (depending if we need pace or height) - no place for Kuffor in my view, waste of space and money.

I don't think that Ainsworth does rate Kuffour. He was Waddock's last wonderful signing and Ainsworth has left him on the bench most of the time. Craig needs to be given at least a chance. I voiced my opinions on Pittman at the start of the season, I think he is no more than a 15 minute man. As to the likelihood of any further signings up front, who knows?!

Waddock brought Kuffor in on a 2 year contract so there lies the blame for that one. <steam>

I think give steven craig a chance - whilst he didn't shine he looked quite good playing with deano on Saturday and hopefully he can start to get some goals

as for JPP, Saturday was worrying for so many reasons - he looked as though he couldn't be bothered to even chase simple passes to him...

Yes I agree give Craig a go until McClure's fit then alternate the two Matt's fitness is an issue as is JP. One forthcoming problem Deano has picked up 3 yellows already
