Out in the park walking Osca at 5.30 this morning and what a gorgeous start to the day it was, then Osca asked me a profound question, “Dad he asked”, not his real dad but he calls me that anyway,”Dad he asked, why do you love me, with me being black and white”?

Well it threw me, came right out of the blue, what a question at 5.30 in the morning, dogs catch you out like that, or is it just mine?

Truth is I love him despite him being black and white, not because of it, like that with most things black and white really, may not love them but you do sort of feel for them. Most, in my experience, are like Osca, very poor talkers, flappy ears and runny noses, bit thick round the middle, eat most things by gulping them down in that greedy way, **** on the grass and know that the superior one in red and white is their master.

Of course I could not tell Osca all of that, didn’t want him to feel inferior or hurt so I just told him I loved him because he was a good boy, he was happy with that and had a ****, now who does that remind me of?

but by osca being black and white, does that mean he may swing the other way.

now i'm not calling your dog gay, but his colouring alone tells us that he doesn't mind where he puts it.

this should be an interesting thread....

My boy does not understand gay but he seems happy.

I do hope none of our Newcastle mates take my comments in the wrong way, did not mean any offence.

Brilliant Syd!<laugh>.....But remember, like a lot of dogs they have a tendency to bite and I expect this thread will attract the odd nibble...

One of our cats is black with a bit of white but that does not make him less lovable(for want of a better word) than the other two

Brilliant Syd, this made me chuckle out loud.

The only thing that I would add is that I assume that you are a good and responsible dog owner and pick up Osca's doggy doos.

This reflects what happens in football, Sunderland are content to follow Newcastle in the hope that occassionally they will get to pick up a bit of our discarded ****.

Not really, like I said, Syd made me chuckle. I think that what he said is humuorous and clever.

Can't say that about many Mackems though.<whistle>
