Our CM position really needs addressing in the summer. Gill, Clucas and Clarkson who had played CM this season will not return by the end of this season. Woodards, who have recently been playing in this position, went off injured tonight with a suspected broken leg so may not return. We have lost O'Toole who returned to Colchester after his loan finished. Therefore we have left to fill that position..... Norburn (who has just returned from injury), Clarke, Goddard, paterson and maybe even Parkes. I think Norburn will be starting for the rest of the season. But who will partner him??? Parkes returns after his suspension vs Southend this coming Saturday. Would you be tempted to play him in CM and leave McDonald in defence? Would you want paterson in CM who has had a couple of games in the last month or so at CM but has no pace? Would you give Clarke or Goddard a chance to gain valuable experience seeing the season is over now?
correction.... JW said inhis post match interview that woodards has a bad knee injury and phil kite didnt like the look of it. he is being assessed tomorrow but may be a cruciate ligament injury. how many of these have we had this season!
JJOT and Clucas were great together this season and its a shame they will unlikely play together in the blue and white again I have no idea if we could get a similar player? Very doubtful, but im certain we only managed mid table with JJOT here....I was just glad we have enough points to avoid relegation before he left
Higgs says that he hopes he'll see JJO'T in the blue and white quarters again. So if we do manage to get him, I'd like to see him and Clucas back together as they made a formidable pairing.

crazy bitch I put all those left who can play or has played at CM this season. Would you rather have experience like Parkes in CM or Goddard/Clarke who has no experience? Or as season is over, give valuable game time to Goddard/Clarke to get experience? Or play Paterson who is slower than Wiz?
I trust Ward to get just the right players in. Let's face it, it was JJ O'who? when he arrived. I really hope he comes back, but if not then I'm sure Ward will have a plan B.
For sure he'll have a plan b if JJO'T proves elusive. JW knows what we need for a promotion challenge and I reckon the board will back him.
