First away game of the season and its pretty evident that our travelling fans have niether lost thier voice or enthusiasm. I sadly cannot afford the cost of of away games with two sons to pay for as well but we have done a few and you always feel part of a great support. We follow every away game on solent and our boys ring out loud and clear and ithink have been integral to our ever improving away form. To be fair to the Leeds fans last week i thought they were brilliant the way they tried to rouse there team when 2 0 down last week and we seem to have the same passion from our boys on the road and it is always sincerly acknowledged by Nigel and the team. So i take this oppertunity to congratulate you on behalf of those of us who cant go for your great support. By the way i do join in in with the singing whilst listening in the kitchen or garden much to the annoyance of nieghbours' Oh when the saints' is infectious And to all spurs fans how bout some royalties
With shouts of "Yellow, Yellow!" as the players came out onto the pitch must have made it feel like a home game!
Not sure how many of us were there yesterday, seemed like 2000+ but the noise was great - YELLOW!YELLOW!
Have we ever shouted 'Yellows, Yellows' at home?? Sorry, I knew what you meant, just couldn't resist.
Great support and good result to boot - the noise at points was up there anything we would create at home I felt! The only thing I wonder about was the 20 or so fans down at the bottom of our stand who seemed to be just as intent on abusing some of our own fans and songs than just watching the game? Am I the only one who wondered that?
I saw them, they were just standing by the hoardings weren't they? dunno what they were doing.Don't wanna offend anyone either and just in case anyone was friends or related to this person then i'm sorry but did you hear a woman starting the chants? some of the things that were coming outta her mouth were not very ummmmm lady like shall i say,had to laugh though.
Not to nag but (this did improve as the game went on) we need to mix the songs up more away from home. I like the yellows chant and the sk*te bastards one but we do have more songs! Barnsley supporters are woeful anyway - booing their team.
I know you're joking but we were shouting YELLOWS on the memorial cup day before the team had even got out of the tunnel!
