Novak Djokavic won his appeal against deportation from Australia. I'm not sure what to think about this - torn between my belief that he should never have been allowed in in the first place and my dislike of Australia's right wing government.
Got the feeling he was always going to be let in but they were setting a strong example as high profile anti vaxer.
Djokavic and his family echo the right wing rhetoric of Trump et al...... and he was seen out and about sans mask on the day he supposedly tested postivie and the day after........
And when asked about that in a news interview, his family ended the interview. His mother didn't help their case by claiming he had been tortured either... The Immigration minister has left the door open to still deporting him later this week - stating that he will consider using his discretionary powers. I hope he does.
