Glad England won so easily - was a bit worried when we "only scored" 305 but seems the bowlers were on good form and with 2 run outs also decent in the field. Who we want in the semis? Wonder if India and Australia will rest players for their final group games?

Cricket final to be on FTA telly if England get there. Probably put the mockers on it! BBC have the Wimbledon final and Channel 4 the British GP so not sure who will show it ?
Don't More 4 show the Tour de France which will be on at the same time? I have lost track as I watch the French coverage as it has far less adverts.
Usual first day crashes in the Tour de France, but none too serious. Every year you see riders covered in bandages where they have come off, and yet they carry on despite the discomfort.
Just noticed next week its: F1 British Grand Prix Wimbledon Men's final Cricket World Cup. If you had a choice which would you watch the most. Guess the cricket is all day whereas the others 2/3 hours....

The Tour de France has just passed the Cathedral in Reims, reminding me of the occasion I was there at 2.30 am with a 13 year old skinny daughter in the back of the car desperate to find a loo. I found one of those tardis type affairs and in she went. The problem came when she wanted to come out as she didn't have enough weight to operate the pad inside that opened the door. It might have been interesting to see what happened if the law came by as I was outside telling her to jump up and down on the pad. Eventually it did open for her and all was well.
