Better than a PS4? Matth thinks not, what do you think? I know my PC is better than both put together with sticky tape and Matths love juices

Depends what you want them for. Xbox One is going a more family orientated route like the Wii did, and PS4 is built for console games. However if you want to play games like a real man, use a PC.
Both are crap ATM due to terrible unfinished software. Xbox is a bit better though, even though it has appalling microtransactions for everything.

To repeat my post from the PS4 thread: A Gaming PC is ridiculously more powerful than any console. Of the two consoles just to be released, I actually find myself in a weird place, agreeing with Meth. Of the two, the PS4 is by far the better gaming machine. The XBoxone is better as a home entertainment system (streaming movies, downloading apps etc). But from a purely gaming standpoint the PS4 wins. But also from a gaming standpoint, a proper PC owns both..
They're both good, one has more graphics power, the other has more processing power. The main reasons I chose the X1 are the controller (never got on with the PS) and the game lineup. DR3, Titanfall, Ryse all looked (not in graphical terms) better than anything the PS4 had to offer. The whole Console 1 > console 2 thing is just people being childish. Plus anyone who picks graphics over gameplay is a dick EDIT: Bodanski, tell me a few reasons the PS4 is better for gaming - ignoring that it has better graphical power.
It boils to wht type of game you like. I like the Forza games, so an X1 would suit me, if I was dumb to buy one.
That's exactly my point. The hardware is more or less irrelevant these days. You'll get brilliant exclusive games on both consoles, and you'll get **** games on both.
I love the Nvidia GTX cards, every generation since the GTX 8800s have been excellent and age very well. not familiar with that card but I assume it has 2 GPUs? COD will never test a card anyway. Arma II on full settings will test a card. I used to made custom maps and put in as many soldiers tanks and aircraft as possibly until the system starts to slow up. Love that game, you can just open map editor and put in 1000 aircraft in a dogfight and load up the map and have mayhem. Would also put myself on a hill top with all the ammo\weapon crates and have 1500 soldiers coming towards the position, slaughter-fest.
Gotta get a new PC in January, so I can play Battlefield 4 and the like with better frame rates. COD can suck my choad, BF is better. As far as the consoles go, I despise Sony with a passion, but imo the PS4 titles are better, its cheaper, smaller, has better graphics and I must admit part of my opinion of the Xbox One does stem from Microsofts epic back track on the DRM and offline mode saga, which they sorted, but it left them with egg on their face. Still, i wont buy either, because Im a PC elitist, always have been.
